Petition

Our petition calling for the abolition of the BBC was rejected by the UK Parliament 'Petitions Team'.  It seems there is already a petition that deals with the same issue, posted up by a Mr Tim Price. Our own searches had not revealed it.

The petition calls for the revocation of the BBC Charter and goes on to state:

The BBC has a Charter obligation to be independent in fulfilment of its mission. It has repeatedly shown itself incapable of providing impartial reportage on major political issues. The BBC was established when there was no effective media choice. The licence fee is abhorrent in today's media world.
